Gorgonia Beach Resort is for nature lovers, a structure with excellent services, an excellent Francorosso entertainment group, good food and professional and gentle staff, among other things. It was the greatest excursion of my life, a special thanks to Basam and the entire group at TGI Diving - Marsa Alam, for being so competent and trustworthy. VERY POSITIVE: Very good beach, snorkelling, scuba diving. (Nothing else, but this is valid for all hotels in the area). Very good food (all-inclusive). POSITIVE: Well-kept gardens, pool. The rooms are very clean. The front desk speaks English, German, and Italian. NEGATIVE: No internet in rooms, bad coffee (they have internet in rooms, and good coffee, but you have to pay extra, although all-inclusive). VERY NEGATIVE: Breakfast only 7:00-9:30. They should have a "Minimal breakfast corner", perhaps as self-service, 5:00-11:00, for early- and late-risers.

Where do I begin? An overwhelming luxury holiday! Marsa Alam Airport, a small airport with no military or police. All security checks here seem like a joke. Please note: we purchased a visa in advance via Sunweb. When you arrive at the relevant counter, the clerk tries to make you pay 2x 30 euros again. This is going into his own pocket, standing firm and not paying. Then suddenly he knows where to find Sunweb's list. Via the minibus (15 persons) from Sunweb you will arrive at Gorgonia resort in approximately 2 hours, now your carefree holiday can begin! Luggage is lifted and driven to the room in a golf cart. We arrived at 10 pm but they made 3 sandwiches per person in the kitchen. Tip: for a euro or 50 all take 50 cent coins and you can hand out tips. The servants run for you during breakfast, lunch and dinner. Every member of staff is friendly and respectful but be aware of the Spa/Health club males, they are quite quick to paw. Also don't fall for the photo shoot scam on the resort. They say very nice 3 euros per photo, but afterwards you come to 375 euros in total. I don't understand how the hotel works with such partners. The food is truly sublime! Everything very hygienic and well cooked. No large groups of Russians or Ukrainians leaving their plates. Audience is mainly German, Italian, Polish and Dutch. The biggest problem here is the climate, seawater and bacteria. I have traveled all over South East Asia and Europe, without any problems. Had such a problem with my intestines and stomach here as here. Bring ORS with you! It happened every day, even with my girlfriend. I see this as an external cause that the Resort cannot do anything about. You have an hour time difference at the resort, Gorgonia time. This means +1 hour so that you have a little longer activities in daylight. The Resort is extremely clean. Cleaner Saber and his colleagues are really great. Swimming pool is a degree or 28, sea no less than 30! degrees (July '22). The room is not bothered by some terribly good free air conditioning which can cool your room completely in 5 minutes. As Sunweb will also tell you: do not set your air conditioning at 21 or something but at about 28 in the night. This prevents you from getting a cold. If you occasionally want to app and visit a single website, you can use the free WiFi in the foyer, otherwise you have to contact the guys from egyptsim before arrival. I've had all kinds of holidays (camping, city trips, hotel, backpacking) but nowhere am I as unstressed as here. A very strong recommendation! Sunweb you have done an excellent job in collaboration with this Resort. If the Resort wants to be even more excellent: install modern fitness equipment and ensure that waste is also removed in front of the barrier. At the pool there are no signs to the toilets, this way you work for the easiest solution. Furthermore, the resort should be better prepared for the services that are offered within the resort. I was terribly annoyed by all those annoying salespeople (Spa, massage, photoshoot, beauty salon) at the pool. If you held them off beforehand, they got angry too. For Sunweb: a Dutch-speaking agent would be nice, especially for the somewhat older target group. Overall for me without a doubt ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I don't see myself coming back here though, the health issues were too much.

Where I can start. I will start from a start- the reception.. absolute terrible, no help to me from the staff Here talked disrespectfully to me, didn't Feel comfotable. Another problem was with guest relation woman (i think her name was Kim??) who is really not Good person to the guests especially to me. Another dissapointment with my kids. in kids club some girl named Milina she smoke so much and i don't Feel Good when someone play with my kids and they can smell the smoke.. and I don't even mention her behaviour. Really i can tell this trip was the worst in my life and I will make sure that whoever from my friends will never have to deal with your hotel ever. Thank you and i hope more people notice How bad there it is.

Visited 12/2021 for 1 week. And I have already reviewed, but they have a new site with new reviews. From the second day of my stay stomach problems such as vomiting, fever, diarrhea. The doctor said I have been food poisoned. I stayed 2 nights in the medical center and than I had to have some medicine incl. antibiotics. I had to be resting in my room. I had also a diet for 3 months, and my problems with my stomach took 2 months. Now I still have some pain from the injection into my buttocks. If I would not have any problems, it could be a nice vacation, because the hotel looks relatively nice, but I am sorry, but I have to review like this, because those problems are not worth the vacation there at all, at least for me.

Great experience. Nice staff & management, very friendly, always helpfull. Great hotel. ☀️ If you are ill, don't visit the doctor in the hotel. For 2 consults you are charged +€160😳 . You feal like a cash cow 🐄€$£. Extra charge for medicin €60 is really over te top🤯. Additional 'Consumables' charged for €30 is a clear tourist trap. Consumables = 2 latex gloves & the use of thermometer. (Total Costa is over €200) Better take transport to Marsa Alam to visit a doctor and a pharmacy, for about €40.
